About RCCM
2024 — The Beginning of a Journey
In November 2024, the City of Richmond officially proclaimed December 2024 as "Christian Faith Month." This marked an important milestone in recognizing the positive contributions of the Christian faith to our community.
Inspired by this proclamation, a small group of six Christians came together with a shared desire to put faith into action through practical service.
During the Christmas season, together with many volunteers and community partners, more than 320 hot turkey meals were prepared and served to individuals and families experiencing hardship in Richmond.
What began as a simple act of service became a visible expression of Christ's love and demonstrated how churches and believers could work together to bless our community.
2025 — Growing Together
Encouraged by the response from the community and the support of many churches and organizations, the initiative continued to grow.
Working alongside churches, Christian ministries, volunteers, and community partners, we expanded the "Love Comes Near" Turkey Meal Community Outreach, serving more than 620 turkey meals to individuals and families through local service organizations.
In addition, we organized "A Joyful Celebration of Christmas Love," a Christmas Community Carnival at a local shopping centre, featuring music, performances, family activities, community booths, and opportunities for churches and Christian organizations to connect with the wider community.
Throughout the Christmas season, we witnessed churches from different traditions and believers from diverse cultural backgrounds serving side by side. More importantly, we saw new friendships formed, partnerships strengthened, and many lives touched through simple acts of love and kindness.
These experiences reminded us that when God's people serve together, our witness becomes stronger and our community is enriched..
2025 — A New Chapter of Co-Mission
With grateful hearts, we now enter an exciting new chapter in this journey of faith.
By God's abundant grace and faithful provision, Richmond Christian Co-Mission (RCCM) has been established as a registered non-profit society in British Columbia. This marks more than the formation of a new organization—it represents a shared commitment to strengthen unity among churches and Christian ministries as we work together in God's mission to serve our community.
Our name, Co-Mission, reflects our calling: churches, Christian ministries, charitable organizations, community partners, volunteers, and individual believers serving together with one heart and one purpose.
Guided by our Vision
Faith Together • Hope Together • Serving Together
—we desire to build bridges across churches and organizations, encourage meaningful partnerships, and create new opportunities for collaborative ministry that demonstrates the love of Christ through practical service.
As part of this new chapter, RCCM are honored to have been entrusted with coordinating the Christian Center, a shared Community Mission Space located at Richmond Public Market. We envision this Community Mission Hub as more than a meeting place. It will be a shared resource where churches, Christian organizations, charities, community groups, and volunteers can gather to pray, plan, train, equip, and work together in serving the people of Richmond.
The facility will be available for meetings, workshops, seminars, counselling, outreach initiatives, community programs, and charitable activities. Through a voluntary donation model, we hope this shared ministry centre will remain accessible to churches, Christian organizations, non-profit groups, and community partners who share the desire to bless our city.
As we dedicate this ministry to the Lord, our prayer is that RCCM will become a platform that inspires greater cooperation, strengthens the witness of the Church, and mobilizes God's people to bring hope, compassion, and practical care to those in need.
We firmly believe that together, God can accomplish far more than any one church or organization could achieve alone.

2026 — A New Chapter of Co-Mission
